Keep the substrate consistently moist but not stagnant, avoid fertilizer, and feed only appropriate live insects if indoor plants cannot catch prey on their own. Growth is strongest around 20–30 °C, but long-term health depends on a cool winter dormancy of about 3–4 months at roughly 5–10 °C.
