Adelonema wallisii 'Camouflage' builds its appeal through layered shades of green, with oval leaves marked by speckles and blotches that resemble a forest floor in miniature. It stays low and compact, usually under 40 cm, and grows with a creeping, bushy habit that works well on shelves or side tables.
Bright indirect light keeps the pattern clear, while a light airy substrate and moderate drying between waterings help prevent root trouble. Humidity above 50% keeps the foliage cleaner, but the plant is less demanding than many more fragile tropicals.
Because it contains calcium oxalate, it is not pet safe, and its neat size should not be mistaken for toughness against cold drafts or chronic overwatering. Division and stem cuttings are both practical propagation routes.
