Adiantum raddianum 'Fritz-LĂĽthi' keeps the airy maidenhair look but packages it in a denser, slightly sturdier form, with larger triangular fronds and firmer black stipes than many standard selections. New growth opens bright green and matures to a softer blue-green tone, which gives the plant more depth than a flat green fern.
It prefers bright indirect light, constant but not stagnant moisture, and humidity around 60–80%, paired with warmth between 18–24 °C. Letting the root ball dry even briefly can set it back quickly. A light organic mix with fine bark or perlite works well, and regular stability matters more than heavy feeding if you want the fronds to stay fine, full, and evenly coloured. Repotting is best done before the roots become dense and felted.
