Aeschynanthus 'Swing' keeps a looser, softer curl than some more tightly twisted lipstick plant cultivars, with glossy green leaves draping along trailing stems that can approach 90 cm. Bright red tubular flowers emerge from darker buds and add a second focal point once the plant is established. Its epiphytic background means it responds best to bright filtered light, good airflow, and a breathable mix based on bark, coir, or other airy ingredients.
Water once the surface has dried slightly, then let excess drain away. Stable warmth around 18–24 °C and moderate to high humidity support both foliage and bloom, while cold drafts, heavy soil, or long dry spells usually show up first as soft growth, yellow leaves, or reduced flowering. Cuttings root readily.
