Agave angustifolia 'Marginata' stacks narrow, upright leaves into a clean rosette edged in pale cream to white, so the plant reads crisp and graphic even from a distance. Over time it can form a short trunk and produce offsets, gradually building more presence without losing the defined silhouette that makes it useful in pots.
It likes very bright light or direct sun, a sharply draining substrate, and thorough but infrequent watering with a full dry-down in between. Compared with some heavier desert agaves, it can accept slightly more regular watering in active growth, but never dense, wet compost. Marginal teeth and the terminal spine still require care, especially once older plants begin to widen or pup. Once established, it can also build a useful colony from pups.
