Agave victoriae-reginae 'Albomarginata' sharpens the famously precise royal-agave form with bold white leaf margins that glow against deep green, smooth, rigid blades. The rosette stays compact, usually around 25–30 cm tall and 40 cm across, but every leaf contributes to a highly geometric whole that reads finished even when the plant is still young.
It is slow, drought-adapted, and best grown in strong light with a very free-draining sandy or gravelly substrate that dries fully between waterings. Growth is usually solitary at first, though older plants may form a few offsets. The broad white margins make it visually brighter than the standard form, so it suits minimalist interiors and collector displays particularly well.
As with other agaves, flowering ends the life of the rosette after many years, and the sharp terminal spine plus irritating sap mean careful handling and thoughtful placement are essential.
