Alocasia âPrince of Curupâ is grown for heavy embossed foliage, a strong silver-green vein network, and a compact jewel-Alocasia habit that gives it collector appeal without giant size. The leaves look almost pressed or chiselled, which makes the plant feel substantial even when still fairly small. In good indoor conditions it usually develops into a tidy upright clump around 60â90 cm tall, with each new leaf adding more relief and depth rather than simply more mass.
Bright indirect light keeps that texture readable, and an airy root zone is essential because a tired, wet mix quickly dulls both growth and surface definition. Keep it warm, humid, and evenly moist, and it rewards patience with unusually sculptural foliage. Even young plants already look dense and deliberate.
