The leaves are thick and glossy, usually deep green with bronze reflections above and richer purple tones beneath, so the plant has more depth than a plain dark Alocasia. It tends to grow upright to around 70ā120 cm indoors and looks best when the roots are warm, the substrate stays open, and the watering rhythm is steady rather than heavy.
