Alocasia sp. Sulawesi is an undescribed Sulawesi form valued for elongated leaves, slight velvety character, and a pale margin line that outlines every blade. Instead of relying on heavy texture or bright variegation, it creates impact through proportion and edge definition, giving the plant a calm but highly refined vertical presence. Indoors it usually reaches about 60–90 cm and keeps an upright habit that works well beside broader-leaved aroids.
Bright indirect light helps the pale outline remain clear, while high humidity and warm stable temperatures support better leaf finish. Use a chunky, well-aerated substrate and water when the upper layer starts drying so the roots stay active without remaining wet. It is a strong choice for collectors who want something uncommon and restrained.
