Alocasia âThunder Wavesâ stands out through movement as much as colour, with deeply lobed leaves and strongly undulating margins that make each blade look like it is still in motion. The glossy dark green surface catches light across the raised veins and rolling edges, so the plant reads almost sculptural from a distance. Indoors it can reach around 1â1.5 m and develops a self-supporting, upright habit that suits bright corners where a softer-leaved tropical would disappear.
It grows best in warm, humid conditions with bright indirect light and a coarse, airy mix that drains well after watering. Keep moisture even rather than heavy, because strong roots and steady hydration are what let the leaves build their distinctive wave pattern cleanly indoors.
