Aloe 'Hercules' is a tree-form hybrid of Aloe barberae and Aloe dichotoma, combining a cleaner trunk, blue-green rosettes, and faster growth than many other large Aloes. In warm climates it can become a substantial landscape plant, but in containers it stays slower and more manageable while still reading as a living architectural element.
Give it maximum sun, a gritty substrate, and long dry intervals between thorough waterings. Warmth matters: cold, wet conditions are far more damaging than brief drought. Mature specimens can eventually produce branched spikes of orange-pink flowers, and the plant’s upright trunked habit makes it especially useful where you want vertical structure rather than a spreading rosette. Container growth keeps the scale practical indoors.
