Slender, strap-shaped leaves give Anthurium bakeri a vertical, space-saving look that differs sharply from velvet or bird’s-nest types. The foliage can reach about 55 cm long, arching from tight clumps to create a narrow outline that works well on shelves, in grouped plantings, or in smaller displays where broad leaves would dominate. Mature plants may also produce pale inflorescences followed by red berries, adding seasonal detail without changing the clean structure.
Bright filtered light, warm conditions around 18–26°C, and humidity in the moderate-to-high range keep it growing steadily. Use a very airy mix, then water when roughly the top 10–15% has dried. It handles short dry intervals better than many velvet Anthuriums but still dislikes stale, wet substrate.
