Heart-shaped leaves and bright silver veins make Anthurium crystallinum one of the clearest reference points for velvet Anthuriums. In good conditions it stays fairly compact in habit while still producing leaves up to about 45 cm long, giving the plant a strong presence without turning into a massive climber or rosette.
Bright indirect light, humidity around 70–85%, and a chunky substrate with bark, perlite, coconut chips, and a light moisture-retentive element keep roots and foliage moving in the right direction. Water when roughly the upper 10–15% of the mix has dried and avoid leaving the pot heavy for long periods.
Monthly low-dose feeding during active growth supports steadier size and venation. It works well as a focal velvet species or alongside climbing and bird’s-nest Anthuriums.
