Instead of a notch at the base, Anthurium forgetii carries rounded, closed-sinus leaves that look almost cut from a single shape, with soft velvet texture and neat pale venation across the surface. The plant stays compact and comparatively slow, often around 50 cm or less indoors, which is why it is so often chosen for close viewing rather than big floor displays.
Medium to bright indirect light, stable warmth between 18–25°C, and high humidity help it keep cleaner edges and better leaf quality. An ultra-airy substrate with bark, perlite, coconut husk, and only a small amount of finer material suits the roots best.
Water when roughly the upper 10–15% has dried and avoid leaving the pot wet for long periods. Its appeal is precision: shape, surface, and symmetry rather than speed or bulk.
