Begonia bowerae 'Tiger' forms low mounds of asymmetrical leaves patterned in dark chocolate and bright lime, with fine red hairs along the margins and stems adding extra texture at close range. The compact habit makes it easy to place, but the colour contrast is sharp enough that it never disappears into a mixed planting. Warmth, humidity, and bright shade are the main requirements: too much sun can scorch the fuzzy surface, while cold or stagnant wet compost quickly damages the roots and petioles.
