Begonia corallina 'Wings', often sold with the name 'Lucerna', grows on tall bamboo-like canes with elongated, silver-spotted leaves and generous hanging clusters of coral-pink flowers. It is one of the more classic angel-wing begonias, combining real floral display with an upright framework that can become a substantial indoor specimen if pruned and supported well.
Bright indirect light keeps the cane growth sturdy and encourages bloom, while a loose organic mix with reliable drainage lets you water regularly without souring the roots. Let the upper layer dry slightly between waterings, keep humidity moderate to high, and pinch or cut canes back if the base starts looking sparse.
Given space and a stake, it can build into a broad, flowering plant that offers both height and colour, rather than being limited to leaf pattern alone.
