Begonia sp. U062 is a compact rhizomatous collector type with hard-twisting spiral leaves and a metallic surface that blends silver, dark green, bronze, and wine tones into one small but intense plant. Because the leaf base coils strongly, Begonia sp. U062 brings an escargot-like structure without simply repeating standard rex patterns.
Its low, sculptural growth makes it especially effective in bright cabinets and terrariums, where every leaf can be seen and the shimmer shifts with angle and humidity. For growers who like collector begonias with strong form and a darker metallic palette, U062 offers a lot of visual complexity without needing much room.
