Caladium 'Pink Beauty': Quick Overview
Caladium 'Pink Beauty' combines soft pink centres, white veins, and deep green borders in broad heart-shaped leaves that glow in bright filtered light. It usually reaches around 50 cm tall and wide during the warm growing season, forming an upright clump from tubers before naturally going dormant as conditions cool.
Bright indirect light suits it best, since direct sun can bleach the thin foliage while low light weakens the contrast. Keep the substrate evenly moist but airy, use good drainage, and maintain humidity around 60–80% for the cleanest leaf finish.
As with other caladiums, watering should be reduced once the foliage begins to fade and the tubers prepare to rest. Division is by dormant tubers, and plant tissue contains calcium oxalate, so despite the refined colouring it is still toxic if ingested by pets or children.
