Citrus limon × Citrus paradisi 'Lipo' brings together the brightness of lemon and the softer, sweeter character of grapefruit in a fruiting tree that still looks handsome even when it is not carrying fruit. Shiny leaves, fragrant white flowers, and larger yellow fruits give it the presence of a classic citrus, but the flavour profile feels gentler and broader than a standard lemon. That makes it useful for fresh eating as well as drinks, dressings, and kitchen experiments.
Like most container citrus, 'Lipo' needs full sun, steady feeding, and a very free-draining substrate rather than decorative treatment. Let the upper part of the mix dry before watering again, keep air moving around the crown, and use a pot large enough to support regular flowering and fruit development.
