Coleus scutellarioides 'Le Freak' looks loud in the best way, with jagged leaves marked in dark burgundy and neon chartreuse so the plant reads almost electric from a distance. Unlike softer-patterned coleus, this one has a sharper, high-contrast look that suits bright interiors, mixed tropical groupings, and small pots that need visual weight fast. Its naturally compact, branching habit also makes it easier to keep full than many older coleus forms.
Give 'Le Freak' bright filtered light, consistent moisture, and regular tip pruning to keep the shape tight. Brighter placement keeps the pattern bold, and pinching stops the plant from stretching into bare stems. That combination turns it into a reliable foliage cushion rather than a temporary colour burst.
