Dieffenbachia 'White Etna' is an upright cultivar with broad leaves patterned in creamy white and deep green, giving a bright look without the bulk of larger cane forms. It generally matures around 60–90 cm tall and 40–60 cm wide, so it keeps presence without needing much floor space.
Bright indirect light is best, though it tolerates lower light, and the substrate should stay lightly moist with a short drying interval at the surface between waterings. Warm indoor temperatures around 18–24 °C, moderate to higher humidity, and a free-draining peat-based mix support steady growth.
Repotting every few years keeps the root zone fresh, older leaves can be removed as they age, and propagation from stem cuttings is straightforward. As with other dumb canes, tissues contain calcium oxalate.
