Dracaena angolensis 'Torch' is a compact cylindrical cultivar with blue- to grey-green leaves held in a flaring torch-like fan, giving it a strong silhouette that stays crisp for years. The leaves are rigid, slightly grooved, and slow to extend, so the plant keeps its architectural outline better than many looser succulent forms.
It comes from the same dry-adapted background as the species, which means bright indirect light, a sandy or gritty mix, dry air, and infrequent watering are the essential conditions. Let the substrate dry completely between waterings, keep temperatures above 10 °C, and avoid added humidity or wet stagnant soil around the rhizomes.
Propagation is slow through division or leaf cuttings, maintenance is minimal, and the source also notes mild toxicity if ingested.
