Dracaena trifasciata 'Metallica', also sold as 'Siam Silver' or 'Tenzan', carries a cool silver sheen over grey-green leaves with muted banding and subtly reddish wavy margins. The metallic surface gives it a more contemporary look than ordinary green snake plants, but the care stays just as simple. Indoors it usually grows in a narrow upright rosette to roughly 60–90 cm, suiting bright rooms where the foliage can be seen up close.
Bright indirect light keeps the silver finish clearer, though lower light is tolerated, and watering should be very sparse, only after the pot has dried completely. Use a gritty succulent mix, keep temperatures around 18–29 °C, and avoid stagnant moisture.
Division is the safest way to propagate it, and the plant should be kept away from pets and children.
