Dracaena trifasciata 'Black Coral' forms upright sword-like leaves in a deep, nearly black green crossed by softer silvery banding, giving the plant a moody look without losing the classic snake-plant strength. Indoors it keeps a dense vertical clump that suits smaller floor spaces as well as shelves with good light.
Bright indirect light keeps the markings clearer, though lower light is tolerated, and watering should only happen after the substrate has dried fully. A fast-draining succulent mix, warm temperatures around 18–30 °C, and restraint with fertilizer are more important than humidity.
Leaf cuttings and offsets both work for propagation, while overwatering remains the main risk. Like other Dracaena in this group, it is toxic if chewed by pets.
