Dracaena zeylanica 'Fan' stands out for its deliberate fan-shaped leaf arrangement, which turns the usual upright snake-plant clump into something more directional and sculptural. The deep green leaves carry lighter horizontal banding and stay leathery, upright, and slow-growing, usually reaching about 70–100 cm indoors. Because the leaves emerge in a set fan rather than random vertical clusters, one plant already reads as composed and architectural.
Bright indirect light gives the cleanest colour, though lower light is tolerated, and watering should stay sparse until the substrate has dried completely. A cactus or succulent mix, ordinary indoor humidity, and temperatures between about 15–30 °C are enough. Division is the simplest propagation method, while soggy soil remains the main risk to long-term health.
