Euphorbia aggregata variegata forms a low, densely packed cushion of short, spiny heads splashed in cream, yellow, and pale green, so even a modest plant already looks established and collectible. It is grown for clump architecture rather than height, with each offset tightening the mound and making the overall pattern more intricate as the plant ages. In shallow bowls and wide pots it reads like a living mineral formation, especially once the variegation starts repeating across dozens of clustered heads.
Full light, a strongly mineral substrate, minimal feeding, cautious watering after full drying, and careful handling around the spines and irritating latex sap are what keep it compact, colourful, and firm instead of softening into unstable growth.
