Ficus elastica 'Belize', also traded as 'Red Ruby', is a variegated rubber plant with thick leathery leaves marbled in green, cream, and pink, plus vivid reddish new growth that gradually softens as it matures. The plant keeps a strong upright structure and can reach around 2–2.5 m indoors over time, giving plenty of vertical impact without becoming difficult to style.
Bright, indirect light is important if you want clean colour and sturdy growth, while deep shade dulls the variegation and slows development.
