Fittonia albivenis 'Pink Ruby' packs a lot of colour into a very small footprint, covering dark green leaves with intense ruby-pink veining that makes the plant look almost backlit. Because the habit stays low, creeping, and mat-forming, it works especially well in shallow pots, terrariums, and grouped displays where taller plants would block the effect. It is less about size and more about pattern, giving a humid setup a vivid foreground instead of another plain green filler.
Fittonia albivenis 'Pink Ruby' stays best when treated like a rainforest floor plant: warm, evenly moist, and comfortably humid. Low to medium indirect light is enough, while dry air is what usually spoils the look fastest. Keep the substrate from fully drying out, trim when stems get loose, and it will stay compact, colourful, and easy to refresh from cuttings.
