Heptapleurum actinophyllum 'Gold Capella' is a larger, bolder umbrella plant grown for broad glossy leaf clusters washed in golden-green tones that brighten a room without looking pale or weak. Compared with smaller dwarf umbrella forms, it feels more tropical and more architectural, building upright volume quickly and giving bright interiors a stronger, more mature foliage presence. It is useful where you want a plant with height and width but not the fragility of fussier statement species, since it handles regular indoor life well once established.
Bright indirect light, evenly moist but well-drained soil, and periodic pruning keep Gold Capella full and balanced rather than lanky, sparse, or top-heavy, which is exactly what you want from a large indoor foliage piece.
