Hoya callistophylla 'Vena' is grown for long, leathery leaves marked with dark netted venation that stays bold even before the plant reaches much size. This form keeps a relatively manageable habit and works well on a small trellis or hoop, where the structured foliage becomes the main feature.
Bright, indirect light helps maintain contrast, and a little gentle morning sun can be tolerated once acclimated, but harsh midday exposure is best avoided. Water when the top layer of the airy mix has dried, keep temperatures warm, and aim for humidity around 60% or higher for stronger growth. Like other Hoyas it can be propagated from node cuttings and may later flower from persistent peduncles, which should not be removed after blooming or after flowers fade.
