Hoya latifolia sp. Indonesia 'Silver Splash' is a slow, substantial Hoya with broad leathery leaves marked by generous silver flecking that makes every new leaf look slightly different from the last. The vines can trail or climb, but the foliage is the main draw here, with leaves often reaching 15 cm or more and developing deeper veining as the plant settles in.
Bright indirect light, a coarse epiphytic mix, and watering after the top 2 – 3 cm have dried give it the balance of air and moisture that thick-rooted Hoyas need. Warm temperatures, moderate humidity, and a slightly snug pot support steadier growth, while heavy soil and frequent disturbance usually slow this species more than brief dryness ever will. Stable placement and slight root restriction help over time.
