Hoya 'Rosita' is the compact hybrid between Hoya wayetii and Hoya davidcummingii, combining narrow glossy foliage with deep burgundy edging and rich red flower umbels on manageable trailing vines. Compared with many larger Hoyas, it stays tidy enough for shelves and small hanging pots, yet still offers real bloom potential once it matures.
Bright indirect light helps strengthen both the dark leaf margins and flowering, while the top few centimetres of the substrate should dry between waterings so the roots do not stay wet. A coarse bark, perlite, and coir mix suits it well, with warmth around 18–24 °C and humidity in the 50–80% range. Hoya 'Rosita' is a very practical hybrid for growers who want a compact vine with both foliage colour and dependable red-toned umbels rather than just one or the other.
