Hoya DS-70 is a compact trailing or lightly climbing Hoya known for glossy rounded leaves edged in warm bronze and for coral-pink flower umbels that add real colour without the plant becoming oversized or unruly. It sits in that useful middle zone between collector plant and easy houseplant: attractive enough to stand out in a Hoya grouping, but resilient enough that newer growers can keep it thriving without specialist conditions.
The blooms, often gently sweet in scent, make it more than a foliage piece, but the neat compact vines already carry enough visual value on their own. Bright indirect light, a breathable mix, and a proper dry-down rhythm are usually all it needs to stay tight, healthy, and bloom-capable without taking over the display.
