Hoya sp. Trenggalek is a compact East Java clone with thick matte leaves, subtle splash markings, and a controlled vining habit that stays useful in smaller spaces. It does not rely on oversized leaves or loud variegation; instead, the appeal comes from leathery texture, quiet pale patterning, and the way the foliage feels solid and deliberate once it has settled.
Bright indirect light, higher humidity around 60–80%, and a fast-draining orchid-style mix keep it in good condition, while the top of the substrate should dry between waterings to prevent yellowing and root trouble. It can be grown mounted or potted, with tendrils guided up a support or allowed to trail naturally.
Hoya sp. Trenggalek is ideal for growers who prefer understated collector Hoyas with strong texture and tidy, manageable growth.
