Hoya wayetii 'Tricolor' is a variegated trailing form with pink new growth that settles into cream-centred leaves framed by darker green edges, giving the plant colour movement even when nothing else is happening. The leaves stay narrow, slightly arched, and thicker than they look, so the vine can handle short dry spells and remains tidy in small hanging pots or on bright shelves. Strong indirect light is essential if you want the pink and cream tones to stay defined, while overly low light quickly dulls the contrast.
An airy bark-perlite-coir mix and partial drying between waterings keep the roots healthy, and temperatures around 18–28 °C with moderate humidity suit it well. Hoya wayetii 'Tricolor' is especially attractive when you want a colourful but still controlled trailing Hoya rather than a broad-leaved variegated species.
