Kalanchoe humilis is a low, shrubby succulent with thick grey-green leaves marked in deep maroon stripes and spots, giving it a patterned look that stays decorative even when the plant is not flowering. It can reach roughly 30–90 cm including the inflorescence, but the main interest lies in the smooth, broad leaves and its upright, somewhat spreading form.
