Marcgravia sintenisii is a Puerto Rican climbing vine that begins with tight shingling growth, pressing overlapping leaves flat to its support before maturing into a more vigorous climber. New foliage often opens red and gradually deepens to glossy green, which creates a shifting colour range even on younger plants. It is one of the larger Marcgravia species in cultivation, so a vertical mount, background, or mossed support makes a real difference to how well it establishes and how naturally it grows.
Give it good bright indirect light, warmth around 18–28 °C, consistently moist but airy substrate, and humidity in the 70–90% range if possible. Stable moisture, high humidity, and a climbing surface matter more here than heavy feeding or strong direct sun.
