Medinilla magnifica 'Flamenco' is a compact flowering selection bred to keep the dramatic look of Medinilla magnifica in a more manageable indoor size, usually around 60–90 cm. Thick dark green leaves give it structure even when out of bloom, while pendant clusters of coral-pink bracts and pale flowers provide the main display and can last for weeks under stable conditions.
Bright indirect light, warm temperatures around 18–24 °C, humidity from about 60% upward, and an airy slightly acidic mix all support better flowering and cleaner foliage. Water lightly but consistently during active growth, then ease back a little after blooming for a short rest.
Stronger stems and shorter internodes help this cultivar stay tidier than larger forms without losing the characteristic hanging bloom shape.
