Monstera acacoyaguensis is a vigorous climbing Monstera with thick, glossy leaves that develop clean elongated perforations as the plant matures and gains height. The overall look is less chaotic than in some fenestrated Monsteras, with leathery blades and a more orderly pattern of openings once the stem is well attached to a support.
Bright indirect light, warmth around 18–29 °C, and humidity in the 60–80% range help it establish and size up, while a chunky, well-aerated mix keeps the roots from staying stagnant. Water when the upper part of the substrate has dried, and use a pole or trellis if you want the leaves to become larger and more perforated over time.
Because all vegetative parts contain calcium oxalate, it should be kept away from pets and children.
