Peperomia quadrangularis 'Rocca Scuro' is a compact trailing selection with dark green leaves marked by lighter striping and carried on red-tinged, slightly angular stems. The foliage is small, thick, and neatly patterned, so even when the plant starts to cascade it still reads clean and structured rather than loose. It stays low, usually under 15 cm tall, with stems spreading or trailing 15–30 cm, which makes it useful for hanging pots, shelf edges, or mixed containers.
Bright to moderate indirect light keeps the markings clearer, while a loose, well-draining substrate and careful watering reduce the risk of leaf drop or rot.
Average room humidity is usually enough, and the plant is considered non-toxic, making it a strong option for homes that need a small but graphic trailing accent.
