Peperomia polybotrya 'Raindrop' is grown for its thick, glossy leaves shaped like oversized teardrops, each one held on an upright stem so the whole plant looks clean, graphic, and architectural. It stays relatively compact, usually around 30–40 cm tall, but the broad leaf blades give it more presence than its footprint suggests.
Bright, indirect light keeps the growth sturdy and the leaf surfaces clear, while the semi-succulent habit means the substrate should be allowed to dry partly between waterings. Use a well-draining mix, keep the plant warm, and avoid cold drafts or heavy soils that stay wet around the roots.
It is considered non-toxic and propagates readily from stem or leaf cuttings. For indoor growers, the main appeal is the bold leaf shape and polished look rather than flowers.
