Philodendron bipennifolium 'Variegata' combines the species’ recognisable horsehead or fiddle-shaped outline with cream, yellow, and green marbling that can shift from streaked to broadly patched depending on the leaf. It is a climbing philodendron rather than a self-heading one, and mature form depends heavily on giving it a moss pole or similar support. Indoors it can reach 1.5–3 m with time, while leaf size and lobe definition improve as the plant gains height.
Bright, indirect light helps the variegation stay clearer, and watering after the top 2–3 cm of substrate has dried prevents rot in the roots and stem base. It prefers warm conditions around 18–29 °C, humidity above 65%, and a barky, fast-draining substrate. Like other philodendrons, it is toxic if ingested.
