Philodendron 'Burgundy Princess' is a compact climbing trade cultivar with dark burgundy-green leaves broken by soft pink, cream, and sometimes lilac-toned variegation. The overall effect is moodier than brighter pink variegates because the coloured areas sit against a much darker base, and new leaves often open lighter before deepening with age. With support, the plant can reach around 60–90 cm indoors, though the internodes remain fairly short and the vine stays manageable.
Bright, indirect light keeps the plant growing steadily and helps the variegation stay well defined without scorching. Use an airy aroid mix, water when the top layer begins to dry, and provide moderate to high humidity for fuller growth. As a chimeric hybrid, leaf pattern can vary or shift over time, which is part of its appeal.
