Philodendron 'Burle Marx' variegata keeps the original’s elegant, arching growth but overlays the glossy green leaves with cream and yellow marbling that varies from leaf to leaf. Because the plant branches and grows more as a low shrub or climber than a strict vine, it fills space quickly without looking rigid, making it useful in pots, on supports, or as a broad trailing accent.
Indoors it can reach around 90 cm tall with a similar spread, and brighter filtered light helps maintain sharper colour contrast without scorching the pale sections. A loose aroid substrate, moderate watering after the upper layer dries, and warm temperatures keep the roots active and the foliage fuller. Like other philodendrons, it is toxic if ingested, so placement should consider pets and children.
