Philodendron 'Florida Green' is the non-variegated form of the Florida hybrid line, combining deeply lobed green leaves with textured red petioles on a fast, reliable climbing plant. It focuses on shape rather than colour pattern, producing increasingly dramatic foliage when given a moss pole or trellis and enough brightness. Indoors it can reach around 1.5–2 m, with mature leaves often becoming larger, darker, and more leathery as the plant climbs.
Bright, indirect light keeps the growth compact and vigorous, while an airy substrate with bark, coir, and perlite helps the roots stay healthy between waterings. Let the upper part of the mix dry before watering again, and keep humidity and warmth reasonably stable.
This hybrid is grown mainly for strong vertical presence and bold leaf outline without the unpredictability of variegation.
