Philodendron 'Fresh Aurea', also traded as 'White Princess Aurea Tricolor', is an upright climbing mutation of the White Princess line that replaces white variegation with brighter yellow and lime tones. Leaves can show bold sectoral blocks, marbling, or even nearly full aurea blades, making the plant highly variable from one unfurl to the next. The growth stays structured and fairly compact at the internodes, but with support it can climb to around 2 m indoors.
Bright, filtered light helps preserve contrast without scorching the lighter sections, while a coarse aroid mix and watering after the top of the substrate dries reduce the risk of yellowing and rot. Humidity in the moderate-to-high range supports cleaner growth. Because the variegation is chimeric, green reversion can happen and is best managed by selective pruning.
