Philodendron 'Green Dragon' is a vigorous climbing hybrid with long, deeply lobed leaves that create a dragon-like silhouette, sometimes with finer golden streaks on the blade. It is widely associated with Philodendron bipennifolium influence and behaves like a fast scandent plant that benefits from a moss pole or trellis. With support, it can reach 1–2 m indoors and develop larger, more architectural leaves than unsupported stems.
Bright, indirect light keeps the foliage fresher and helps any lighter markings remain visible, while a chunky aroid substrate and watering after the upper layer dries protect the roots from soggy conditions. Warm temperatures and humidity around moderate to high support the quickest growth.
It is toxic if ingested and especially appealing to growers who want unusual leaf shape without the slower pace of more delicate collector species.
