Philodendron hederaceum 'Lime', often sold as 'Neon' or 'Lemon Lime', is a fast-growing heartleaf form with vivid chartreuse foliage that stays bright from juvenile leaves through maturity rather than darkening into ordinary green. It can be used as a trailer, a climber, or a filler plant in mixed displays, and that flexibility is one reason it works so well indoors.
Under good conditions vines can reach around 3 m. Bright, indirect light keeps the colour strongest, though moderate light is tolerated, and watering after the top 3ā5 cm of substrate has dried helps avoid the yellowing that comes with wet roots. It prefers temperatures around 18ā27 °C, humidity between 50 and 70%, and a loose substrate with bark and perlite. Like other philodendrons, it is toxic if ingested by pets or children.
