Philodendron melinonii 'Ghost' is a self-heading cultivar grown for pale, almost white to mint-green new leaves that slowly darken into glossy green, creating layered contrast inside one tight rosette. The plant does not need a climbing support, and that compact self-supporting habit is part of why it works well as a floor or low-stand specimen. Mature plants can approach 80–100 cm in height and width while keeping a broad, symmetrical form.
Bright, indirect light keeps the new leaves paler for longer, while watering after the top 3–4 cm of substrate has dried helps avoid the yellowing and fungus gnat issues caused by heavy wet soil. It prefers 20–28 °C, humidity around 60–80%, and a breathable organic mix. Like other philodendrons, it contains calcium oxalate and should not be chewed.
