Philodendron 'Pink Princess' is a climbing hybrid grown for the contrast between very dark green to burgundy-toned leaves and irregular pink sectors, streaks, or flecks that can vary widely from one leaf to the next. It looks far better on a pole than as a loose trailer, because support helps the stems stay structured and gives the foliage room to mature properly. No two leaves come out with the same balance of colour, which is part of the appeal but also means some leaves will be quieter than others.
Bright, indirect light, an airy substrate, and watering after the top 10–20% of the mix has dried keep the plant steadier than a fixed schedule. Temperatures around 18–28 °C and moderate to higher humidity help pink tissue mark less easily. It is toxic if chewed and the paler areas bruise faster than green ones.
